A Bright Light in a Dark World

I have always loved Kimberly Williams-Paisley, so when I saw this book was by her, I had to read it. Picking up this book was the best thing I could have done. She does an amazing job of writing to you, the reader, and being brutally honest. The ups and downs of dealing with losing your mother to a disease that takes away the person you loved and cherished is heart-wrenching. Williams-Paisley puts it all out there, the good, the bad and the ugly. Definitely a book I’d recommend, whether you like Kimberly Williams-Paisley as an actress or not. It gives a great covering of what anyone’s life can turn into. A very brave book to write. She easily weaves her life in with her mother’s so that the reader truly gets an idea of the type of person her mom used to be and how the disease slowly took over her life. I don’t know how she makes it through each day, but the strength that her entire family has is amazing and I was honored to read about it.
